Meet our Clinical Counselling Interns
Clinical Counsellor – BSW, MACP (Candidate)
When you choose to seek guidance, it is a sign that you have the courage and strength to acknowledge when support is needed. My goal is to work alongside you and create a compassionate, warm environment, to work through life’s challenges.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings, including wellness and support services, group and individual counselling. My educational background includes an Honours Bachelor degree in Social Work and I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
I focus on the therapeutic alliance as an important role in healing and work to support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that each individual should have a safe, non-judgmental space to express their thoughts and feelings openly.
Together we can build on your strengths and tailor treatment to your individual needs. I look forward to working alongside you through your healing journey
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), BCD, MACP Candidate, CCTS-I
It has been said that having even one healthy relationship can act as a protective factor against life’s challenges. I hope to provide you with a safe and supportive environment where such a relationship can develop. I hold the belief that all views of reality are valid. This allows me to offer you a space where validation, respect, acceptance, and compassion are the cornerstones of each interaction. Clients will be invited to take off their masks, allowing their true authentic self to emerge, which is where self-growth and healing can take place.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and strength-based. Clients can expect to be met where they are in their healing journey, meaning that although we will be working collaboratively, the pace and content of therapy will be solely at your discretion, with myself serving as merely a guide. We will identify and utilize the strengths you already possess to help you navigate through these difficult times because you are more than just your struggles.
I hold an Honours Bachelor degree in Child Development and I am in the final component of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. I strive to stay informed on topics pertaining to the mental health field by engaging in ongoing professional development in order to provide clients with therapeutic practices that are current.

Clinical Counsellor – BA (Hons) Psychology, Master of Arts Counselling Psychology (candidate)
I have always had a passion for mental health, and wanting to help others. Seeking help is a sign of stamina and bravery, and my goal is to gently guide you toward personal growth, discovery, and healing.
My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology from Carleton University, and I am currently completing my graduate degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. I hold a certificate of achievement from the University of Groningen/University of Cambridge on ‘Young People and their Mental Health’, and am completing my certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist.
Do you struggle with stress, depression, addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, and/or trauma? I would welcome an opportunity to walk with you through your healing journey. I offer an integrative approach, which is centered upon you, the client, and together we will determine therapeutic goals, aspirations, and the pace at which is best suited to making positive gains within the therapeutic process.
Adversity is often an opportunity for self-growth and discovery, with each individual unique in their needs. Achieving good mental health is a journey and a process, and reaching out for help is the first (and often most difficult) step. I look forward to working with you wherever you are at in your journey, and together taking steps toward growth and healing.
You are an Empowered Butterfly
From darkness, a cocoon opens, and the butterfly emerges into the daylight. The butterfly represents your transformation when you overcome life's challenges.
Metamorphosis occurs during a time of isolation and darkness. Although it appears that there is no change on the outside of the cocoon, the caterpillar within uses this time to gather energy and transform.
Like the cocoon phase, this is a constructive and vital stage that builds your strength, self-confidence and resilience. You break free from emotional, mental and physical pain, and emerge from the darkness transformed and empowered.
And like the majestic butterfly, you soar towards freedom and light. If you believe it's time to change.
Change your life.
Reach your dreams.
You finally accept that previous beliefs and fears can't hold you back anymore. You have the strength and ability to change your life and reach your dreams.
We're here to help you walk that journey.
The Power of You
You have a gift within you:
The power to get through.
You're capable of rising up;
There's nothing you can't do.
The world is consumed with magic.
Today just marks the start
Of believing in your opportunities.
Believe with all your heart.
Remove the weight of limits;
Give yourself a chance.
Firmly stand and plant your feet,
The ground will feel your stance.
It's here your head shall learn to rise,
And focus on what's to come.
Your fears will see this inner strength;
From them you'll no longer run.
Exhale the grief from past mistakes;
March on down the road ahead.
Your soul has in it the ability to fly;
Your wings are worth being spread.
